OSCAR Project

Our project goal was to build a user-friendly website that can find significant differences within a sample of genes.  Our team consisted of three groups: front-end design, middleware, and backend development. I was part of the design team that was tasked with branding, designing, and front-end coding the entire website. As a team, we decided to make the website responsive by designing and coding a tablet, laptop, and desktop size.

The design process began with understanding user scenarios in order to develop initial wireframes in Adobe XD. Then, we finalized the design with high-fidelity mockups before we began coding. Once we completed the front-end code of the website, we merged our code with the backend and made sure the website ran smoothly.
